The time is NOW
How is it that we as humans know exactly what to do in order to get what we want in life, yet we still do not choose to do what it takes. Every mentor of mine over the last 10 years has told me to wake up early EVERY DAY. I know that is a success principle. I don't wonder if it works for some people and not for others. In order to get completely clear, connected, and in tune with God, it takes at least 30 minutes of prayer, deep breathing, reading, and journaling to prepare for all of the people counting on me as their chiropractor. I wake up early, 5:00 am most mornings of the week, BUT I was not waking up EVERY morning of the week in preparation. Now it is public. I have voiced that I am now a person that dedicated 7 days a week to waking up before the world does to prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually to serve the masses. So I am now prepared to see more people, serve more, and save more people. The time is now. As you read this, think about how are you preparing yourself to achieve all you want in life. Do the right thing today. Let that one step propel you to the next 10 or 20 right things. Wake up the next day, ON TIME, with purpose and do the right thing. Do not become weary in doing good. Whether it is our health, relationships, finances or anything else, the success consists in the climb. Now is the time to make change and take charge. God has a huge purpose for each of us so stop playing it safe. The harvest is already there but do you believe you deserve it. If so, go get it and enjoy.

Don't sweat the technique...or should you?
Have you ever been told to go to a chiropractor yet not really understand why or what you can expect when you get there? As a chiropractor I would like to apologize on behalf of my profession for the terrible job chiropractic has done at explaining what chiropractic is and who can benefit. Chiropractic is a science, philosophy and art of all things natural. It is the practice of locating spinal subluxation or misalignment and specifically adjusting the subluxation to restore full capacity of healing intelligence to the body. The chiropractic adjustment is largely misunderstood as a general manipulation. A specific, scientific chiropractic adjustment restores proper spinal alignment thereby allowing full expression of life force through the nervous system to the body. Chiropractic has very little to do with auto injuries or a “crick” in the neck. Chiropractic has everything to do with maximizing expression of life through the body. The adjustment normalizes quantity and quality of mental impulse from the brain to the tissue cells fortifying the growth, function, and health of the body as a whole.
Chiropractic was discovered in 1895 when D.D. Palmer found a lump in a deaf man’s neck and decided to “push” the bump back into place. The man’s hearing restored and chiropractic took root. In 1897, Palmer School of Chiropractic was established in Davenport, IA. Palmer is widely known as the fountainhead of chiropractic because this is where it was discovered and then developed by the legendary, Dr. B.J. Palmer. Just last weekend, I had the great fortune of touring the B.J. Palmer Mansion on the campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Learning more about B.J. Palmer never ceases to amaze me when I think about all one man accomplished in his lifetime. Dr. Palmer was an inventor, scientist, School President, Owner of radio and television stations, owned a printing press, researcher, and author of 36 books, world traveler and humanitarian. Not to mention Chiropractor in private practice seeing thousands of people per week from all over the country.
A common misconception about chiropractic is that all chiropractic is the same. It is not uncommon for a misinformed consumer to say,” I already tried a chiropractor” with no understanding of what that actually means. That reminds me of my friend Jon who does not like the taste of bananas. If he decided he dislikes all fruit because he tried a banana once and did not like it, he would miss out on all the wonderful fruits the world has to offer. What a shame. In Chiropractic, there are over one hundred techniques of adjusting the spine so I will describe some of them to you.
It is critical to understand that only chiropractic techniques will be discussed because physical therapy, massage, footbaths, nutritional counseling and distribution or any other modality is not chiropractic and has an insignificant role in this discussion. If chiropractic is what you are seeking, find a chiropractor that has a passion for practicing chiropractic and has become a master at his or her art.
The most commonly practiced techniques are full spine techniques of osseous adjusting or adjusting different areas of the neck, middle back, low back and pelvis. These adjustments are most often accomplished with the patient laying face down on a chiropractic table and the Chiropractor applying a quick thrust to a vertebra. A small amount of gas is often released from the joint creating an audible. Examples of full spine techniques include Gonstead, Diversified, Motion Palpation and Thompson to name a few. These techniques typically analyze the spine using x-rays and palpation of the spine.
There are several techniques developed more recently using adjusting instruments. The Activator, Atlas Orthogonal, and Torque Release techniques use an adjusting instrument to accomplish what is being done by hand utilizing other techniques. Again, these techniques are gentle, safe, and effective when done by the skilled, well trained chiropractor. The instruments may be applied to several levels of the spine or to one area in particular.
A smaller percentage of the chiropractic profession focuses on upper cervical or upper neck adjusting. In fact, BJ Palmer focused his efforts on teaching and practicing upper cervical chiropractic. The reason Upper Cervical Chiropractors choose to adjust the upper spine only is simple. The Upper neck bone called the atlas is the only freely movable vertebrae in the spine and protects the most important part of the spinal cord. If you remember back to when Christopher Reeves (superman) fell off a horse and fractured his atlas (c1), his body stopped functioning from the neck down. The reason being he damaged nerves in his neck that control all body function. Even a small misalignment in the top of the neck can cause health problems throughout the body. Upper Cervical Chiropractors often rely heavily on very specific x-rays of the head and neck. The adjustment is done with the patient lying on his or her side. The adjustment is gentle, painless, and effective at restoring proper head and neck position thereby maximizing life expression. NUCCA, Kale, Knee Chest, and Blair are a few examples of upper cervical chiropractic techniques.
Regardless of technique, when the chiropractic adjustment is given with the right analysis, specificity, intent, and skill, it restores the brain’s power to the body and maximizes self healing from above down and from the inside out. All techniques mentioned are effective for children, seniors and everyone in between. So you ask, “Who can benefit from Chiropractic.” The better question is “Who wouldn’t benefit from chiropractic.”

The power that made the body heals the body....
The power that made the body heals the body. When I first heard this statement I thought it was interesting and a wonderful statement in describing Where healing comes from. As with anything in life my perspective has changed and so has my understnzding of life itself. The same exact statement has a much deeper and magnificent meaning to me today. As a principled chiropractor serving people for the last 6 years, I have come to see this statement as one of the most profound truths known to man. Let's break it down and build it up again.
The POWER that made the body heals the body. What is the power? Where does it come from? The power refers to the all knowing inborn wisdom inside each of us that runs, regulates, controls, coordinates every function in the body every second of our lives. We call it innate intelligence because it is the internal wisdom we are born with and stays with us until the moment the body passes. The POWER builds us up,provides intuition, provides health, and
Provides all the proper parts doing exactly what is needed for survival. This power is what gives us a gut feeling. The power tells us when to look behind us because danger is coming. This power lives within every cell, tissue, and organ of the body. We can conclude that the power is transmitted through the nervous system being that the nervous system is the first system created in the fetus and is the MASTER system of all others. Where does the power come from? The power comes from GOD. Regardless of religious affiliations or beliefs, GOD is the universal intelligence of all. All includes you and I. If god has the ability to take 2 cells and create a live, viable, complex human being, do you believe that God can heal?
The specifically applied chiropractic adjustment removes interference to the nervous system allowing for proper communication from brain to body thereby restoring the Power to heal the body.

Is your faith in rubber bands?
You have probably heard of or own a rubber bracelet with a piece of shiny metal in it called a power balance band or some rip off of the original. The power balance band touts itself as giving you balance and power and therefore giving you an edge over the competition. REALLY? Wow that sounds AWESOME. Listen up all of your powerband faithfuls. I don't doubt for a second that the band will help you try harder, work harder and do more if you believe it will. But why not BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. My faith is in my creator and the all knowing power he put in me called INNATE INTELLIGENCE. By getting my atlas corrected I get a REAL edge in life. I tap into the dormant potential and achieve new levels of health, fitness, prosperity, love, and service. I live in full joy because of the chiropractic adjustment (giving and recieving). The adjustment restores physical, mental, and spiritual BALANCE and provides the essential POWER to do all that is necessary to MAXIMIZE LIFE.

The FEELING of CHRISTMAS
Why do we get in service mode during Christmas and immediately switch into a me first mentality for the start of the new year. Christmas puts us in this state where we willingly spend money, time and effort in helping and serving others. It may be for selfish reasons that we choose to give so willingly. There really is no better feeling than lifting someone up that is less fortunate or may be going through a tough time over the holidays. The inner pleasure that we get when we give is a good thing. I believe God puts that feeling in us to help the real servants of the world to continue to give and serve even when no one is watching.
Don't fall into the trap of being me centered following the Holidays. Focus on serving from your own abundance and God will take care of the rest. My innate wishes your innate peace, love, and joy over the Holidays but most importantly throughout 2011.

Innate and ChiropracTIC for ChiropacTORS
Innate Transpires all differences, all beliefs, religions, biases, cultures and colors.
It is the Universal language, that binds us all together.
BJ said that innate is God. Innate is good. It is all that is right and it is alright. It refuses to pale to all that is wrong and destructive because it is 100% all right, always, for all the days of our existence.
Innate is our connection to the 4th dimension beyond educational understanding, interpretation, manipulation. Stop thinking and start doing what innate is telling you. What would we accomplish if we stopped spending 70% of the time thinking and 30% of the time doing. When we are in complete service mode, innate takes over as though you have no chance to mess it up. Innate takes over and you are taken out of your body. You are no longer of the world. You are operating through a power stronger than what we can humanly possess. Innate allows for the spirit to display itself through matter. It is God’s way of maintaining our world in existence as Innate provides all that is needed to keep educated from destroying everything. Innate is telling you exactly what to do. Do not let your education start rationalizing. That is when darkness, sickness and evil powers prevail. When we say we are too tired, too successful, too comfortable, too professional. Educated has put our ego number one and serving number two which is the formula for destruction. That is when people don’t know the truth, they suffer needlessly and they take away from the world. They are disconnected from what is right and they loose faith. They rely on pharmacia, and other man made outside in man-ipulation.
If you want a bigger practice, then my question is WHY do you want it? How bad do you want it? And as Dr. Santo says, for whose purpose are you practicing? When the size of our service meets the size of our dream, it is only a matter of time.
If you are on this call than you and your innate know WHAT TO DO. You don’t have to wonder how to get out and serve the people. There is no SECRET to building a big practice. There are only 3 things needed: 1. Burning passion for the principle, 2. Work Ethic. 3. Love of People. When we spend the 70% doing and 30% of the time thinking we change lives and transform our community. While they are pushing pills We have to PUSH THE PRINCIPLE. When we push the principle without the egotistical intervention (and that is work in itself), we perpetuate good in the world. We infuse the hopeless with hope. We bring life to the lifeless. Chiropractic releases the bottled up potential in man, woman and child. Chiropractic enables peace, calm and joy and restores what is normal, natural and right in life.
Innate is the epitome of truth. Innate is truth in its purest form. As DD and BJ discovered and developed it, chiropractic is always right as long as its ChriopracTIC. You never have to wonder is it right, what if this or that. You operate in truth and so your words and actions are perfect. Your practice is the only 100% innate driven healing profession known to man. Every other healing art in the world perverts, interferes with, or mixes in the outside with the inside. Chiropractic is the only science, philosophy and art that does not add, take away, but only stirs the perfect power from within maximizing life expression.
With our minute understanding of the grandeur of innate we are always protected, always provided for and living a purpose filled life of serving, loving and giving through principled chiropractic.
Christmas has us all thinking about giving and receiving. I believe God gift to us is the Chiropractic Principle. To live and share the principle is a gift. It is a gift richer than all the riches of the world. The principle provides the way of life. It provides health, provides purpose, provides wealth and growth. The principle is balance, harmony, happiness, but most of all LOVE. Love of self, love of others. The principle provides love of God. Innate is good. Innate is God. Innate is always right and right in all ways.
The brightness of our beacon is determined by our courage. The greatest warriors aren’t the biggest, strongest or fastest although is helps. The greatest warriors have the greatest courage. They are willing to put it all on the line for the chance to be legendary. The size of your risk will determine the size of your reward. When was the last time you took a real risk?
When was the last time you really put yourself out there in a way that would make or break you financially, with your reputation, with your current state of comfort? When your faith in innate overcomes your fear of failure in a meaningful way. A way that challenged or puts into question your current state.
In the book the Alchemist, the Shepard boy learns in his journey across the Egyptian desert in search of his treasure, he says “When a person REALLY desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dreams. You already know all you need to know, I am only going to point you in the direction of your treasure. Each of us has a personal legend, a passionate pursuit of our treasure.”
I believe our treasure is the principle. For one reason or another, we are called to spread the principle across our land. We are called to lay our hands on, to connect innate to innate and to release innate expression of life force through matter. We release all that is good in life. We release what is right in all ways and we are always right. We release life with love and we love life.
So how bad do you want it and why do you want it? When you REALLY desire something for global benefit, all the universe conspires to help you realize your dream.
My prayer to you is that you will awake each day with the courage to trust your innate and the drive to obey its brilliance and at the end of the day, the satisfaction and fulfillment that you served the innate principle with all God gave you that day.
I love and appreciate you, wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year.
